Pat Detmer
Pat Detmer was a proofreader and editor in her youth, and then moved into customer service at Herff Jones where she became the first woman in that national corporation to manage production employees. She was charged with creating a Materials Manager position for the centralization of the purchasing and outsourcing processes, a position that she next held at Griffin Envelope, now a part of Cenveo. She sold fine paper for twenty years for various Seattle paper merchants, and was Sales and Marketing Manager for a regional distributor.
Her specialties are sales consulting and coaching, marketing consulting, event-planning, and copy writing.
Pat was a Toastmaster in the Paleolithic Era, and won regional speaking contests when she was the only female voice to be heard in competition. You can read more about speaking at Pat Detmer: Speaking.
