Jim Crotts
Jim is a Northwest native who brings extensive management experience to The Quincy Group. Following graduation from Oregon State University with a degree in Forest Engineering, he worked for Weyerhauser, holding positions in many aspects of operations and business management. He began his career as an appraiser, including field cruise and valuation of properties for acquisition, sale or exchange. Jim has been involved with the legal management of business properties including work with state and municipal governments. He managed financial services and production facility planning, developed a value extraction improvement system for production employees and first line supervisors, and led a team to value and manage deregulated trucking.
Jim spent six months in New Zealand working with another forest products company before assuming operational and business management for a western Washington operation which included company and contract production, transportation, equipment maintenance, safety, labor relations, and environmental certification and performance.
